Dentures are a removable dental appliance for missing teeth and surrounding tissue. Two types of dentures are available -- complete and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain. Reasons for Dentures:

A comprehensive dental exam is an essential component of preventive dentistry which is the practice of preventing oral disease to keep them healthy. A comprehensive examination can detect medical conditions before any symptoms arise. A visual examination, followed by a full set of X-rays will be used to detect:

• Gum recession
• Weakened dental restorations such as fillings, crowns, or bridges
